The Portal Tree

The Portal Tree is a mysterious tree which is surrounded by a series of mystical portals. Its nature, origin, and purpose are unknown; however it has been encountered by many heroes in different places at different times.
It is unknown whether it's merely a series of similar trees surrounded by portals, or if it's one tree that simply moves somehow.

Chris DeLuca was the first one in our records to discover the Portal Tree, and got dangerously lost exploring its portals.
The details of his adventure have unfortunately been lost in history.

On an uninhabited world, Balzak Globotron came across a dead tree surrounded by several portals which led to different ancient ruins elsewhere on the planet.

Milton persues The Fat Guy up a hill and into a portal at the foot of a tree. This portal leads him to the world of the Ape-Balls, which has an identical Portal Tree.

Ismene and Michael Telposky discovered a Portal Tree in the middle of a Maze Screen. The portals below it were a faster way to esape from the maze.

Michael Telposky again encountered the Portal Tree at the end of a maze. This time, it was the only way to escape from the maze screen!
