Mercado

Mercado is a realm, or dimension, to the side of the PCG Universe. The primary purpose of the dimension is to be a market.
Numerous different shops are present there. Its currency is Coins, which can be found throughout the PCG Universe.

Due to consensus of the founders of the realm, the Save Game ability has been disabled throughout the realm, to prevent shoplifting. Instead, anyone who dies or who says save game more than once will be returned to the PCG Universe.

Far into the distant past, unknown adventurers discovered this plane of existance during their adventures. At that time, it was essentially an infinite white emptyness.
These pioneers began building huge and intricate marketplaces, upon platforms which they placed in this endless void. Certain platforms were linked to certain points in the PCG Universe, so that adventurers could find them. The purpose of Mercado is to be a place to help adventurers on their quests by selling them crucial items.
Throughout history, many significant heroes have been known to shop in Mercado.

- Guys - There is a Guy population in Mercado, and they are sometimes hostile to the customers.

These people are not native to Mercado but rather have visited it, on their adventures, and bought something.
