Figs are a sentient species whose native planet is unknown. Their culture is entirely based on the worthlessness of the self, and submission to higher authority. That authority rarely, if ever, is represented by another Fig, as they don't believe Figs deserve to hold authority.

Culture[]

Figs' culture is entirely based on the worthlessness of Figs, and how they're undeserving of any sort of good or pleasure for their selves. Their entire existence is to serve the Giant Mouth, for which they serve as food.

Figs will actively avoid success, happiness, escape from bad situations, potential friends, potential allies, useful items (unless they help the Fig to defeat itself somehow), and freedom because they don't deserve any of those things.

History[]

Shri[]

Over a thousand years ago, a number of Figs were left on Shri following a series of attacks by The Great. This population has persisted to the present day, despite their conviction that they don't deserve survival. They're treated by Crodin and Zorelta alike as vermin. (Pierre Series: "Descent")

A Fig's (worthless) Life[]

In 2003, one nameless Fig (they don't deserve names) accidentally broke off of his stick, inadvertently achieving freedom. Believing he didn't deserve the freedom, the Fig was forced to begin a quest to regain the misery of his previous existence. ("A Fig's (worthless) Life")

Modern Shri[]

Descent 19 Lava Figs

Pierre encountered an unnamed Fig in the facility where she was locked up, along with two humans. She rescued the fig, and it joined her party. Many other figs were found in the Tower of N during this time. (Pierre Series: "Descent")

That fig became separated from the party and later mutated. The fig was part of a Crodin genetics program and gained tremendous power as a result. It battled Balzak Globotron, Ginkus, and Ari's party. They defeated it with considerable difficulty. (Balzak Globotron Series: "Balzak Globotron")

A strange Fig pandemic started spreading across the multiverse. These figs started to become hostile and their bodies looked very mutated! (THE FATE OF SHRI)

Chrome Training[]

In 2010, several Figs were used as part of a training simulation arranged by Xaq. They were encountered in a large vertical chamber, where they were commonly used as food for "The Giant Mouth", an activity they willingly partook in, believing they deserved it. ("Chrome Training: The New Recruit")

Meanwhile, Bobby Hill and a Vampire Elf encountered some Figs on the floor of the house they found themselves in. ("Scott & Josh Game")
