The Ancient Station was an ancient repair and refueling station built by Bob's race. The station was also capable of constructing new ships.
History[]
In the distant past, it was in orbit of a star in the Mez'Dora Corridor, but that star has long since become a neutron star, consuming the station in the process. The station was so advanced it was able to survive inside the neutron star, however.
The Taburnackle crew discovered the station in the past by slingshoting around the neutron star, thus traveling back through time due to the intense spacetime churning of the star. As the station had its own time-travel systems, Balzak Globotron was able to repair the shields surrounding the repair/construction bay where a new ship was being built, and then go into the future to discover the completed Neutron Destroyer.
The station had constructed that ship out of neutron star material, and it had a strong enough tractor beam to tow the station out of the neutron star. The station then became permanently accessible to Balzak's Fleet, being a refueling station. It also provided upgrades for the Taburnackle. (Balzak Globotron Series: "Balzak Globotron ")
